Delta Austin-Paris Starts March 27, 2027: Confirmed Details
The launch date, daily seasonal pattern and aircraft are public. Local flight times, the last summer departure and launch fares still need to come from the live schedule.

March 27, 2027 is the firm square on this calendar. Delta's August 13 announcement says its first Austin-to-Paris nonstop will begin that day, operate daily during the summer season and use an Airbus A330-900neo. That is enough to begin planning. It is not yet a complete timetable.

The release leaves the clock face blank
Delta's release does not publish the local departure time from Austin, the arrival time in Paris, a flight number, an opening fare or the season's final operating date. It links readers to booking, but the article itself does not fill those fields. A search result for the exact travel dates is the appropriate source for them, because schedules and prices can move after an announcement.
Seasonal is a meaningful word
Daily does not mean year-round. Delta specifically calls the service summer seasonal, so the airline has promised one flight on each operating day during that season, not a continuous winter schedule. A traveler building a return trip should search both directions before reserving a hotel or positioning flight. The outbound launch date alone cannot confirm that a preferred return date will operate.
The aircraft choice offers four cabins
The planned A330-900neo is not a vague widebody placeholder in Delta's announcement. The airline names Delta One, Premium Select, Delta Comfort and Delta Main. Its current aircraft page shows 281 seats across those four products, plus personal video and in-seat power in every cabin. Travelers who care about a specific product should still inspect the aircraft and seat map attached to their exact flight before paying.
AUS has a refreshingly plain instruction
Austin-Bergstrom's current travel guidance tells international passengers to arrive three hours before departure and check flight status before leaving home. It also says international travelers need a valid passport. Entry rules depend on the traveler, so confirm the applicable official requirements well before the suitcase comes out.
The airport offers one especially humane packing suggestion for two people traveling together: split clothing and shoes between both suitcases. If one bag wanders, neither person is left with nothing to wear. It is the sort of small, unglamorous advice that can rescue the first morning of a big trip.
A date with a little backstory
Paris ranked first in the City of Austin's May 2026 list of international markets without nonstop service. The launch announcement followed 99 days after that snapshot was submitted. Airport planning is rarely so tidy. For now, save March 27 and set a second reminder to rerun the exact itinerary before anything nonrefundable. The route has a birthday; its minute hand is still missing.
