Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration Arrives September 16
The first products land together, then smaller waves follow through November. The useful choice is the format you will actually open and enjoy.
Six shiny cards fit inside a 30th Celebration booster: five foil cards, plus one foil Basic Energy. One of those first five is always drawn from a group of 30 Pikachu illustrations. A tiny pack, in other words, carries its own birthday candle. The official product showcase sets the worldwide launch for September 16, 2026, with participating markets receiving the set at the same time.

The first shelf is the busiest
September 16 brings the broad opening wave: Tech Sticker Collections, a two-pack blister, a Knock Out Collection, a poster collection, Sylveon ex and Greninja ex boxes, a standard Elite Trainer Box and a Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box. The standard box holds nine anniversary packs. The Pokémon Center version holds 11 and includes two Nidorina promo cards, one bearing the Pokémon Center stamp. Those contents come from Pokémon's own product listings, not retailer estimates.
| Date | Confirmed products |
|---|---|
| September 16 | Sticker, blister, Knock Out and poster collections, plus two ex boxes and two Elite Trainer Boxes |
| October 2 | Binder Collection, Booster Bundle and 10 Mini Tin designs |
| October 30 | Espeon ex and Umbreon ex 60-card Battle Decks |
| November 6 | Ditto Premium Collection, Day and Night Ultra-Premium Collections, and Mew and Mewtwo Figure Collection |
The Pikachu is the point
The set pairs reprinted cards with a 30-image Pikachu series. On August 13, PokéBeach counted 19 designs revealed in Japan, while noting that only four had been formally presented in English. Two days earlier, the site highlighted a card by Ken Sugimori, Pokémon's original artist. It is numbered first and returns Pikachu to a rounder early silhouette. That plump little callback is more charming than another metallic anniversary badge would have been.
Secondary previews from Sports Illustrated Collectibles and GamesRadar also describe the all-foil treatment, classic reprints and new Futuristic Rare cards featuring Mew and Mewtwo. The official product showcase is the authority for dates and box contents. The previews help explain how the card treatments fit together.
Choose the box by the afternoon you want
The Binder Collection due October 2 includes five packs and a nine-pocket binder. It suits somebody who wants the pleasure of arranging cards immediately. The October 30 battle decks are the clearer choice for two people who want a ready-made game. At the large end, the Day and Night Ultra-Premium Collections are scheduled for November 6 with 30 packs apiece, including one special Classic pack.
There is no moral victory in buying the biggest box. A binder that gets filled beside a friend has an honest advantage over a sealed cardboard monument. Pick the format that creates the table moment you want. The birthday sparkle is already inside the smallest pack.
