Sports · Main story Inside USA Swimming's National Team, a Roster Built From Tiny Leaderboards The 2026-27 list is an annual performance roster, not a single travel squad or an Olympic-team announcement. Its event-by-event rules explain the repeat names, the extra freestyle slots and the open-water entries. 5 min read Money and Tech · Main story Dario Amodei: Pacing vs. Racing Ahead The phrase sounds like a brake on technology. It is more usefully understood as a demand for a working interval between a capability leap and the next one - time to test, inspect and decide what comes after. 4 min read Entertainment · Main story Paris Hilton and NOT-KARL Make a Fashion Character Matter The small figure in the current campaign is not a new designer or a clothing collection. It is a character with an unusually tidy job: giving a large fashion house a little mischief without confusing the clothes for the cast. 4 min read Sports · Main story Inside Rasheem Biles' Takeaway Game at Texas A first start offered a dramatic hint, but the better answer lies in the unusual route and range of the new Texas linebacker. Here is how to read the plays that make a defender feel suddenly unavoidable. 4 min read Entertainment · Main story Before a YouTube TV Channel Leaves, Read the Service Terms A live-TV guide can feel permanent until a familiar tile vanishes. The useful answer is in the licensing, location and library rules behind the neat rows on the screen. 5 min read Sports · Main story Santos-Cruzeiro Separates Injury, Cards and Loan Rules A match-day absence can mean several very different things. Santos-Cruzeiro offered a tidy way to tell a medical absence, a card suspension and a parent-club clause apart without treating them as one fuzzy problem. 5 min read Money and Tech · Main story Inside the Superpeso: The Three Forces Holding Up the Peso The peso was supposed to drift toward 21 to the dollar. It broke below 17 instead. Here is what the superpeso actually is, and the three forces still holding it up. 4 min read Entertainment · Main story Before the Cases, Meet R.J. Decker's Florida Book Roots The ABC mystery series begins with a former newspaper photographer and reaches back to a 1987 Carl Hiaasen novel. That makes its title change more revealing than it first appears. 4 min read Sports · Main story Toluca and Atlas Explain Liga MX Standings A 5-2 score tells one story. The Liga MX table tells a second one about points, goal difference, games played and the eight places that now matter most. 4 min read Sports · Related read Follow USA Swimming's National Team Trail to an Olympic Roster Making the annual National Team is a serious achievement, but it is not an Olympic-team announcement. The relevant lists are built for different jobs, under separate selection procedures that arrive on different timelines. 3 min read Sports · Related read The Sixth Freestyle Slot Is a Roster Clue, Not a Relay Promise USA Swimming gave six annual National Team places to the 100m and 200m freestyle, and five to other individual Olympic events. The difference is real, but the official rule does not declare a reason or guarantee a later relay place. 3 min read Money and Tech · Related read Before Models Leap: Anthropic's Safety Levels Rise The useful question is not whether a policy sounds stern. It is whether a capability threshold actually changes what a company must prove before it takes the next step. 3 min read Money and Tech · Related read Why Does Anthropic Have a Long-Term Benefit Trust? The Trust is an unusual answer to an old company problem: how to give a public-purpose promise some leverage when short-term commercial pressure arrives. 3 min read Entertainment · Related read NOT-KARL Is a Character, but Karl Lagerfeld Paris Is a Label The names sit together in the campaign, which makes mix-ups understandable. The official store and company record draw a much cleaner line between a narrative character and the labels that sell clothing. 3 min read Entertainment · Related read Reading NOT-KARL: Paris Hilton's Campaign Field Guide A fashion image can make a campaign face, a character and a collection look like one collaboration. Use the credits, product pages and verbs to see who is actually doing what. 3 min read Sports · Related read Follow Rasheem Biles From Pitt to Texas A transfer is not merely a new jersey and a new depth chart. This path explains the notice, portal listing and eligibility checks behind a player who is ready to take the field at a second Division I school. 3 min read Sports · Related read The Forced Fumble That Still Needs a Recovery The ball coming free is the spark, not the whole score. A college-football fumble return has a second act, and that is why the box score gives different players different credit. 3 min read Entertainment · Related read 3 YouTube TV Library Checks When a Channel Leaves A departing live channel can affect more than one place on the screen. These three checks separate a missing guide tile from a disappearing recording and a different kind of viewing option. 3 min read Entertainment · Related read YouTube TV vs. YouTube Premium: Two Plans, One Screen The names share a giant word, and the apps can sit side by side, but the subscriptions solve different viewing problems. The most useful distinction appears when an ad break arrives. 3 min read Sports · Related read Santos Misses Neymar, but a Tighter Shape Changes the Game A star's absence does not make a team stronger by magic. It can, however, force clearer distances, jobs and pressing cues - the useful tactical lesson behind Santos' recent shape without Neymar. 4 min read Sports · Related read Vila Belmiro Field Guide: More Than a Stadium Name Vila Belmiro is a neighborhood name, an official stadium name's everyday rival, and a living piece of Santos history. Here is the useful map, including what is known about its proposed future. 4 min read Money and Tech · Related read The $426 Remittance That Quietly Underpins Mexico's Peso Most of the money behind the superpeso does not arrive in one big headline. It arrives in average transfers of a few hundred dollars, sent home month after month and converted straight into pesos. 3 min read Money and Tech · Related read Trace a Dollar Into the Peso's Carry Trade A peso-dollar rate is not a dial somebody sets. It is a price, and lately a single trade has been doing most of the lifting. Follow one dollar through the carry trade and the mystery thins out. 3 min read Entertainment · Related read 3 Clues That Make R.J. Decker's South Florida Feel Specific The series does not use South Florida as a postcard. Its detective, its cases and the odd fishing-lure roots of the book all give the place a job to do. 3 min read Entertainment · Related read R.J. Decker vs. Double Whammy: A Florida Starting Point You do not need to turn an episode into assigned reading. The show and the 1987 novel share a detective's origin, then offer different pleasures and different starting points. 3 min read Sports · Related read Liga MX Gives Points, but Goal Difference Keeps Receipts A 1-0 and a 5-2 win both earn three points. The goal-difference column preserves the useful difference when the Liga MX table gets crowded. 3 min read Sports · Related read Reading Liga MX Standings: A Toluca and Atlas Guide The table has more to say than a rank. Use this compact field guide to read its columns, spot an uneven match count and understand the eight-place Apertura 2026 cutoff. 3 min read
